SOLUTION :

I) HNO₃ + Ca(OH)₂ → Ca(NO₃)₂ + H₂O

2HNO₃ + Ca(OH)₂ → Ca(NO₃)₂ + 2H₂O

ii) BaCl₂ + H₂SO₄ → BaSo₄ + HCl

BaCl₂ + H₂SO₄ → BaSo₄ + 2HCl

EXPLANATION :

  • Count atoms of reactant in LHS and product RHS.

  • Accordingly, use coefficient to balance it

  • Don't make any change in subscript of formula

NOTE : Add coefficient in front of formula.
