Answer:

1530 m/s (5510 km/h)

Explanation:

At 9 : 30 car is moving at 110 km/h, then acceleration occurs on the car of 5 m/. Find the speed of the car at 9 : 35.

Solution -

Initial Speed (u) = 110 km/h = 110×5/18 m/s = 550/18 m/s = 30.55 m/s

Acceleration = 5 m/

Starting time = 9 : 30

Ending time = 9 : 35

Total time of acceleration = ending - starting time

= 9 : 35 - 9 : 30

= 5 min = 5× 60 s

= 300 s

To find -

Final speed (v)

By using the first equation of acceleration

v = u + at

= 30.55 m/s + (5 m/ × 300 s)

= 30.55 m/s + 1500 m/s

= 1530.55 m/s

Hence the speed at 9 : 35 will be 1530.55 m/s (5510 km/h)

hope it helps.
