at a certain time in a tiger Park the number of heads and the number of legs of tiger and human visited be accounted it was found that they were 39 heads and 132 legs find the number of tigers and human visitors in the park why is it important to take care of tigers​

Given :-

• Total number of heads seen = 39.
• Total number of legs seen = 132.

To Find :-

• The number of tigers and human visitors in the park.

Solution :-

Let the number of visitors be x and the number of tigers be y.

According to the problem,

⇒ x + y = 39......( 1 )

Also given,

⇒ 2x + 4y = 132

⇒ x + 2y = 66.....( 2 )

Equation ( 2 ) - ( 1 ) gives,

⇒ y = 66 - 39

⇒ y = 27

Substituting the value of y in ( 1 ) gives,

⇒ x + 27 = 39

⇒ x = 39 - 27

⇒ x = 12

Hence,

• The number of human visitors = 12.
• The number of tigers = 27.

The decreasing number of tigers will affect the ecosystem.
