at a certainraye of intrest, the. interest after 4years on 5000 rupees principal is 1200 rupees.. what would be the interest on15000 rupees at the same rate of interest for the same period

Principal = Rs.5000
Simple Interest = Rs.1200
Time = 4 years

Simple Interest =
Principal × Rate of interest × Time / 100

Rate of interest=
Simple Interest × 100 / Principal × Time
1200 × 100 / 5000 × 4

6 %


Now,

Principal = Rs.15000
Rate of interest = 6%
Time = 4 years

Simple Interest =
Principal × Rate of interest × Time / 100
15000 × 6 × 4 / 100

Rs. 3600
