Hi ,
According to the problem given ,
Required cloth for ,
1 blouse = 1 yard ---( 1 )
4 shirts = 2 yards
1 shirt = 2/4 yards = 1/2 yard ---( 2 )
( 1 blouse + 2 Dresses ) = 4 yards
( 1 yard + 2 Dresses ) = 4 yards
2 dresses = ( 4 - 1 ) = 3 yards
1 dress = 3/2 yards ---( 3 )
Therefore
Required cloth for ,
1 blouse + 1 shirt + 1 dress
= ( 1 + 1/2 + 3/2 ) yards
= ( 2 + 1 + 3 )/2
= 6/2
= 3 yards
I hope this helps you.
