Let number medals won by women be 'X'

the number of medals won by men were 51 more than women

so, medals won by men becomes 'X+51'

total number of medals = ?

67 different events contributed 3 medals in total

therefore number of medals becomes 67*3

=201

(X)+(X+51)=201

X+X+51=201

2X=201-51

2X=150

X=150/2

X=75

medals won by women =X=75

medals won by men=(X+51)= 75+51

=126

hope it helps you
