Height of the flagstaff = 6.4 m

Shadow cast by it = 9 m

Shadow cast by a building = 22.5 m

Therefore,

Height of the building = ?

It is a question of direct proportion.

So ,

=> 22.5 × 6.4/9

=> 2.5 × 6.4

=> 16 m

ANS ) The height of the buiding is 16 m
