Answer:

Since the time is same trignometric ratio between height and lengths od shadows of objects will be same.

=height of a pole / length of the shadow of pole

=height of tower / length od shadows of tower

height of pole / 20 = 48 / 30

height of pole = 48 * 20 / 30

height of pole = 32m

As a result, the shadow length is 200 * 30 / 40 = 150 m for shadow length.

As per the question given,

We have to the length of the shadow cast by the sun.

Let's call the height of the sun h. Then, we can use the relationship between the height of the sun, the length of the shadow, and the height of the object casting the shadow.

For the pole:

h / 40 = h_pole / 30

For the plaza:

h / 200 = h_plaza / shadow_length

Now, if we substitute the first equation into the second equation:

h / 200 = h_pole / 30

h / 200 = (h / 40) / 30

h / 200 = h / 1200

So the shadow length is:

shadow_length = 200 * 30 / 40 = 150 m.
