at a party 5/7 of the guests were females and the rest were males if 1/4 of the males were children and 60 more females than males attended.find the fraction of children ​

Let the number of people at the party be x.

Number of women at the party = 5/7x

Number of men at the party = x - 5/7 x

                                               =  2/7x

ATQ, 5/7x - 2/7x = 60

So, x = (60 * 7) / 3

        = 140

Number of male children at the party = 1/4 * 2/7x

                                                              = 1/14x

                                                              = 1/14 * 140

                                                              = 10
