Solution :-
=> initial ratio of ladies : gents = 3 : 4 .
So,
=> initial Total ladies in party = 28 × (3/7) = 12
=> initial Total gents in party = 28 - 12 = 16.
Now, after x more ladies join the party,
=> New ladies = 12 + x
=> gents = 16 .
we have given that, their ratio becomes 5:4 .
Hence,
=> (12+x) / 16 = 5/4
=> 4(12 + x) = 5 × 16
=> 48 + 4x = 80
=> 4x = 80 - 48
=> 4x = 32
=> x = (32/4)
=> x = 8 .
So, value of x is 8 is right Answer.
