Given that,

Horizontal component of magnetic field = 0.3 G

Total strength of magnetic field = 0.6 G

We need to calculate the vertical component

Using formula of vertical component

B_{v}=B_{t}-B_{h}

Put the value into the formula

B_{v}=0.6-0.3

B_{v}=0.3\ G

We need to calculate the value of angle of dip at this place

Using formula of angle of dip

\tan\theta=\dfrac{B_{v}}{B_{h}}

Where, B_{h} = Horizontal component of magnetic field

B_{v} = Vertical component of magnetic field

Put the value into the formula

\tan\theta=\dfrac{0.3}{0.3}

\theta=\tan^{-1}\dfrac{0.3}{0.3}

\theta=45^{\circ}

Hence, The value of angle of dip at this place will be 45°.

(b) is correct option.
