ɢɪᴠᴇɴ :-

  • Principal (P) = 5000
  • Rate (R) = 11 % per annum
  • Time (T) = 1 year

ᴛᴏ ғɪɴᴅ :-

  • Simple Interest (S. I)

sᴏʟᴜᴛɪᴏɴ :-

We know that,

 \implies \sf \: Simple \: Interest \:  =  \frac{Principal \times Rate \times Time}{100}  \\  \\  \\  \implies \sf \: SI =  \frac{PRT}{100}

Put the above given values in it, we get,

 \implies \tt SI \:  =  \frac{5000 \times 11 \times 1}{100}  \\  \\  \\  \implies \tt \: SI =  \frac{55000}{100}  \\  \\  \\  \implies \tt \: SI = 550

Hence,

  • Simple Interest (S. I.) = 550

✪ principle (p)= ₹5000

✪ Rate (r) = 11%

✪ Time (t) = 1 year

Simple interest = ?

We know,

SI = p×r×t/100

NoW,

_____ putting the values, we get,

SI =5000×11×1/100

SI = 55000/100

SI = 550

\rule{300}{2}
