at a scout camp there is sufficient food to last 72 scouts for 6 days if 18 scout do not Turn up for the scout how much the food lasts for the other scouts?

72 scouts = 6 days\
1 scout= 6*72 ( less people so the food will last longer. That is why we are multiplying here)

72-18=54 scouts

54 scouts= (6*72)/ 54
=8 days
