At a time when it is cloudy there may be frequent thunder and lightning . the sound of thunder takes some time to reach you after you see lightning . why this happens? Think and answer in your own words

Because the light takes almost negligible time in comparison to sound to reach us because speed of light (3 * 100000000 ms) is more than the speed of sound (330 ms).
