then adults = 55%of x = 0.55x
=> children = 100-55%=45% of x = 0.45x
girls = 0.3

boys = 12
0.315x =12
x = 12÷0.315 = 38.1
a)fraction of boys = 12/x = 12/38 = 0.315

c) adults- children = 0.55x - 0.45x
= 0.1x = 0.1×38.1 = 3.8 = 4 approx
