At a young age (say below 10 years) the muscles around the eye are strong and flexible and can bear more strain.

  • As a person's age increases the muscles near the eyes become weaker and are not capable of handling much strain.
  • However performing some eye exercises on a daily basis would slower down the weakening of eyes.
  • As age increases the work load, tension and pressure on the body also increases, children are the most relaxed ones, but older people can take care of their eyes by some small efforts like: say no to smoking, do not rub you eyes, do not use mobile phones and TV excessively, save your eyes from UV rays, etc.
