Given :- At Aadi sale, Mani bought a pair of shoes for 1890 at a discount of 10%. Find the marked price of that pair of shoes

(A) 1880

(B)1900

(C) 2100

(D) 2210

Solution :-

→ Selling price (SP) = 1890

→ Discount = 10%

so,

→ MP = (SP * 100) / (100 - discount%)

→ MP = (1890 * 100) / (100 - 10)

→ MP = (1890 * 100) / 90

→ MP = Rs.2100 (C) (Ans.)

Or,

→ Let MP = x

→ Discount = 10% => 10% of x = 0.1x

then,

→ SP = MP - Discount

A/q,

→ x - 0.1x = 1890

→ 0.9x = 1890

→ x = Rs.2100 (Ans.)
