At best how many tangents can be drawn in touching circles and intersecting circles??

A secant is a line that intersects a circle in exactly two points. When a tangent and a secant, two secants, or two tangents intersect outside a circle then the measure of the angle formed is one-half the positive difference of the measures of the intercepted arcs. Hope this helps! Good Luck!!!

No tangent line can be drawn through a point with in a circle since any such line must be a secant line.how ever two tangent lines can be drawn to a circle from a point P out side of a circle
