Given:

Pressure is constant.

Initial volume(v1) = 625 L.

Initial temperature(T1) = 0° C.

Final temperature(T2) = 80° C.

To find:

The final volume(v2)

Solution:

Initial volume(v1) = 625 L.

Initial temperature(T1) = 0° C.

                                    = (0 + 273.15)

                                   = 273.15 K.

Final temperature(T2) = 80° C.

                                    = (80 + 273.15)

                                   = 353.15 K

Pressure is constant.

Final volume(v2) = ?

From the formula we get,

(\dfrac{v1}{T1}) =( \dfrac{v2}{T2} )

or, (\dfrac{625}{273.15} )=( \dfrac{v2}{353.15} )

or, (\dfrac{v2}{353.15}) = (\dfrac{625}{273.15} )

or, v2 = (625×353.15)/273.15

or, v2 = 853.81 L.

∴ The volume of the gas will be 853.81 L.

Answer:

The volume of the gas will be 853.15 L.
