USING IDEAL GAD EQUATION (PV = nRT)
- P = pressure
- V = volume
- n = number of moles
- R = gas constant
- T = temperature
Keeping nRT constant for both the cases;
(as we haven't add any thing else while dealing with pressure and volume)
Case#1;
- 2V = nRT
Case#2;
- P(V×⅛) = nRT
From case#1 & case#2;
- 2V = P × ⅛V
- 2 = P × ⅛
- P = 16 atm pressure
