At constant temperature the pressure of a gas is inversely proportional to it volume .If certain amount of gas occupies a volume of 30cc and exerts a pressure of 85g/cmsquare then find the decrease in its pressure when the same amount of gas occupies a volume of 75cc

P is inversely proportional to vol.
This means
 \frac{p1}{p2}  =  \frac{v2}{v1}
Therefore ATQ
 \frac{85}{p2}  =  \frac{75}{30}
p2=17

decrease in pressure = p1-p2
=85-17
=68

Hope it helps.
