At constant temperature with volume of a gas is increased 3 times. If initial pressure is P. What will be the final pressure?

Answer:

At constant temperature P1V1=K or V1=K/P1

If pressure increased three times then 3P1V2=K or V2=K/3P1

Thus, V2=1/3V1
