ab=21 and a-b =4

Now, a+b = √(a-b)²+4ab

= √(4)²+4×21

= √16+84

= √100 = 10

Now, a-b =4

a+b=10

Adding these equations,

2a = 14

or, a =7

Now, a+b=10

or, 7+b=10

or, b=3

Thus, a =7 and b=3 Ans.
