I think I really don't need to talk to my mother.

Here is the recipe...

Take milk (0.5 ltr) in a sause pan.

Add 2 tbsp of Suji (Semonlina).

Add sugar.

Chop required dry fruits like coconut, almond, cashew etc. and keep aside.

Stir the mixture continuously on low to mid flame till the mixture thickens.

You may check if the creamy texture comes up on sides.

When you reach the stage, add dry fruits and some raisins.

Put firni in bowls and garnish with some remaining dry fruit.

#Try to take lesser amount of Suji for making tastier and creamy firni. If you take more, it will quickly form a thick paste like texture and it surely won't taste good.

#Take coarsely granulated Suji. The fine suji don't seem to taste that good.

#You must stir continuously, though with low speed, so that the bottom doesn't sticks.
