For the first 2 months,

For Galaxy apartment,

Rent = Rs 6000 per month.

Also there is 20% off on rent on first 2 months.

So, rent for the first month = rent for second month = (80% on Rs 6000) = Rs 4800

∴ Rent for the first 2 months = Rs 4800 + Rs 4800 = Rs 9600

For Silver city apartment,

Rent = Rs 8000 per month.

Also there is 50 % off on rent for only the first month.

So, rent for first month = (50% on Rs 8000) = Rs 4000

And rent for second month = Rs 8000

∴ Rent for the first 2 months = Rs 4000 + Rs 8000 = Rs 12000

Clearly the rent of Galaxy apartment is much cheaper for the first two months.
