1)Ac dynamo has full rings whereas Dc dynamo has split rings.
2)Ac dynamo produces alternating current whereas Dc dynamo produces direct current
3)AC DYNAMO KEEPS CHANGING EVERY HALF OF A CYCLE WHERE As DC DYNAMO CURRENT FLOWS IN SAME DIRECTION
4)AC Dynamo has 2 copper rings.

DC dynamo has 1split ring . This is the main difference

5)in ac dynamo the current flows alternative

in dc dynamo the current flows directly

ALTERNATING CURRENT:
*It changes direction after equal intervals of time
*In alternating current electric power can be transmitted over long distances without much loss or energy

DIRECT CURRENT:
*Undirectional current is produced
*In direct current electric power cannot be transmitted over long distances since these is loss of energy
