The carbon dioxide is released in the large amount during the night time than the daytime because during the daytime plant does the photosynthesis process and utilize the carbon dioxide and release the oxygen.


But in the night time, due to the absence of sunlight, the plant does not do the photosynthesis process.


So it releases carbon dioxide.
