Answer:

Although most people see fossil fuels as always negative they are not. The biggest and most dangerous problem when it comes to fossil fuels is the risk of political leaders trying to get rid of them and although that may seem absurd let me explain why.

Explanation:

First of all when fossil fuels are burned/used they release carbon dioxide which is what plants use to convert into photosynthesis so they can create oxygen for humans and animals to breath. People who work with fossil fuels such as workers in the oil field and fossil fuel distributors would lose their jobs. Millions of people work in the production, making, and distributing of these resources and they would all lose their jobs. This will not only effect million of families but it would also cause the economy to collapse!

The major problem caused by the burning of these fossil fuels is global warming.

  • Fossil fuels have carbon as their major constituent. Burning carbon produces carbon mono-oxide and carbon dioxide.
  • Carbon mono-oxide is a toxic gas and can be lethal in large quantities.
  • On the other hand, carbon dioxide along with other pollutants plays a huge role in increasing the earth's average temperature. It traps the sunlight and solar radiation and prevents them from escaping the earth's atmosphere due to which glaciers are melting, the sea water level is rising and there is a disturbance in wind and climate patterns.
