at present ,gautam is older to sitaram by 6 years.if after five years the ratio of their ages is 11:9 ,what will be the ratio of their present ages?

let the age of sitaram be x
so the age of Gautam would be x+6
x+5=sitarams age after 5 years
x+5+6= age of Gautam after 4 years
x+11:x+5=11:9
x+11(9)=11(x+5)
9x+99=11x+55
99-55=11x-9x
44=2x
22=x
so the age of sitaram 5 years ago was 22
and so of Gautam was= 22+6=28
