Let father's age be f, and his son's age be s.

So, f=6s and f+20=2(s+20)

Now solve for f and s.

s=5 and f=30

x = 6y. (1)

x + 20 =2(6y + 20). (2)

put x = 6y in (2) ,find the value of y , put it in (1) and equation solved
