at school has 1101 students. the number of girls in the school is 66/7% of the number of boys. how many girls are there in the schoolll

Let the number of boys be X

therefore,

the number of girls = 66/7 % × X
the number of girls = 66/700 × X

Total no. of students = Number of (boys + girls)

1101 = X + 66X/700
1101 = (700X + 66X)/700
1101 × 700 = 766X

X = 1007

Number of boys = 1007
Number of girls = 94
