at school, someone damaged the electricity switch board which resulted in heat and humidity for many hours..... you know who the culprit is...... but he is not owning up.....what actions would you take

First of all I would go to the culprit and try to convince him to take responsibility for his actions but if he still refuses to listen to me then I would go and report it to the school authorities myself. Sometimes it happens that students play pranks just to have fun unaware of the consequences so in that case one must take the responsibility of reporting the behaviors of those students who are responsible for that action and also help change their ways in the process.
