At the end of the road, poet have two options. Either he take the road which is not taken by most people's or that road which is taken by most people's. The road that is not taken by the peoples is covered with dried yellow leaves. And the road that is taken by the peoples is clear. The poet makes decision to take that road which is not taken by the most of the peoples.

He wants to tell the readers that we can clear that path that is not taken by most of the peoples. It is not necessary that we take that path that is taken by most of the peoples. It can be dangerous too.

Answer:

The Road Not Taken by Robert Frost.

This poem is all about choices that one has to make in his/her life and the choice itself is solely responsible for the way his/her life turned out to be.

Coming back to the question...

At the end of the poem, the poet wants the reader to know that at some point in their lives they have to make choices 'the hard' ones and what their life would turn to is solely, completely dependent on that choice itself and they always have two options before them : First, the option which is favored by all and they too are expected to do the same and the second option which is not that popular and choosing it would raise some critics since it isn't welcomed by many. And our lives are totally based on the choices we make , what earlier was thought to be ridiculous would make all the difference.

Hope it helps!
