Two dozen oranges at $3.5 per dozen                                            =   $7

4 kgs of apples at $3.25 per kilo                                                      =   $13

2 kgs of carrots at $1.9 per kilo                                                         =   $3.8

1 kgs of potatoes                                                                                =   $1.2

Therefore, Nathaniel's total bill is $25.

5% of 25 = $1.25

25 - 1.25 = $23.75

Therefore, Nathaniel spent $23.75 on fruits and vegetables at the farmers market.
