At the melting point, the temperature does not rise for some time even if there is a continuous supply of heat. Why?​

Answer:

the melting point of the tempretureis not increased even after continious supply of heat is due to latent heat of vapourization . the heat get extingished in overcomong the force of attraction between the particles(for change of state from ice into water and water into vapour).
