At the vertices of a triangular field of side 14cm,21cm,16cm cows are tied to graze the field with rope length of 3.5cm each.find the area grazed by the cows inside the triangle.also, find the area not grazed by the field.

Area grazed by the cows = (∠A+∠B+∠C)/360* π*r²

                                        =180/360*22/7*3.5*3.5

                                         =19.25m²

Now, S= Perimeter/2

           =51/2

             = 25.5m

Then by heron's formula,

A=√[25.5(25.5-14)(25.5-16)(25.5-21)]

   =√25.5*11.5*9.5*4.5

    =√12536.4375m²

     =111.9662

Now the area that is not grazed = 111.9662-19.25 =92.716m²
