of 20 metres per second, and at time t = 2
min the car reaches a velocity of 40 metres
per second what is the acceleration?

We know that:

a = ∆v/∆u

But before calculating, we need to convert the time into seconds

We know that: 1 min = 60 seconds

=> 2 min = 120 seconds

a = (40-20)/(120-60)

a = (20)/(60)

a = 1/3 m/s^2

=> a = 0.34 m/s^2
