at what distance from a concave mirror of focal length 10cm should an object 2cm long be placed in order to get an erect image 6 cm tall?

hey friend
we have m =h1/H2=-v/u
also using mirror formula
1/v=1/f-1/u
so v=uf/u-f
now putting this in m =h1/H2=-v/u
h1/H2=-f/u-f=6/2=3
so we get
-f/u-f=3
now, -f=3u-3f
so -10=3u-30
-40=3u
u=-40/3=-13.33cm
