f = 9cm

v = 18cm

therefore,

1/f = 1/v - 1/u

1/9 = 1/18 - 1/u

u = -18

there will be no magnification produced by the image.

This can also he explained as,

Imagine is formed at 2F'

so the object will be placed at 2F

the image will be real, inverted, and same sized.
