Given :

Potential energy of object , U = 73.7 J .

Mass of object , m = 15 kg .

Acceleration due to gravity , g=9.8\ m/s^2 .

To Find :

The height of object .

Solution :

We know , potential energy of object of mass m and height h is given by :

U=mgh

Therefore , h=\dfrac{U}{mg}

Putting value of m , g and U in above equation .

We get :

h=\dfrac{73.7}{15\times 9.8}\\\\h=0.5\ m

Therefore , correct option is A .
