2x + 3y = 6

divide both sides by 6

(2x/6) + (3y/6) = 6/6

(x/3) + (y/2) = 1

x coordinate is 3 and y coordinate is 2

Alternately put x =0 in the eq

2×0 + 3y =6

3y = 6, y = 2

Similarly put y=0 in the eq

2x + 3×0 = 6

2x = 6

x = 3
