For any linear equation given that cuts the y-axis, the point of x-axis (ie absisca) is 0 .
So, your x =0
Now putting this value of x in equation
2x-y =7
2×0 -y =7
0-y =7
-y =7
y=-7
So, the value of y =-7
This gives us the point co-ordinate --(0,-7)
So, your x =0
Now putting this value of x in equation
2x-y =7
2×0 -y =7
0-y =7
-y =7
y=-7
So, the value of y =-7
This gives us the point co-ordinate --(0,-7)
