let the coordinate on x-axis be (x,0)

now put the value of coordinates in the equation

2x+0=10

=> 2x=10

=> x=5

therefore the point on x-axis is (5,0). [Ans]

Answer:x=5

Step-by-step explanation:

2x+y=10,

Take y=0 bcoz if y=0, then the point will be on the x-axis..

Therefore,

2x+0=10

2x=10

x=10/2

x=5

(5,0)
