The marked price is Rs.2700

Step-by-step explanation:

We are given that Cost price of  radio is Rs.1200

we are supposed to find a radio that costs him 1200 rupees in order that he may offer a discount of 20% on the Marked price and still makes a profit of 25%

Profit% = 25%

SP = Cp+Profit =1200+25\% \times 1200 = 1200 + 0.25(1200)=1500

Cost for discount 20 %

Selling price = 80\% \times 1500+1500=0.8 (1500)+1500=2700

Hence The marked price is Rs.2700
