Principal= 4500

The sum will double itself in 10 years.

so,

Amount= (2×4500)

= 9000

so,

simple interest or SI = Amt-principal

= (9000-4500)

= 4500

So,

rate =  \frac{si \times 100}{p \times time}  \\  = \frac{4500 \times 100}{4500 \times 10}  \\  =  \frac{100}{10}  \\  = 10\%

So,

Rate % is 10%

Hope this helps you.
