Sol: Principal = Rs 3750
.
 Time = 4 yearsInterest

= 1/5 (3750)

= Rs 750 Rate

= RCase (i) R

= (SI x 100) / (P x T)

= (750 x 100) / (3750 x 4)

 = 5

 Hence, the rate of interest is 5%. Case

(ii) Principal = Rs 3750

Rate = 5% Time = 15 years SI

= (3750 x 5 x 15) / 100

 = 2812.5 Amount

= Principal + Interest = 3750 + 2812.5 = Rs 6562.50
