~87% of the speed of light, details below.

The mathematician answered already. lol. But the real meaning of the question is a physics one, not a mathematical one. At what speed does a clock move relative to a clock where one clock is running 1/2 the speed of the other one

We’re looking to try to make sense of that beast. First we need something for 2 = sqrt(a) since we’re just stating that our final answer is 2. That’s a number for “a” that is 4. Now a is that thing under the square root sign and that’s still gnarly. So we know we need a 4 and do 4 = 1 / b. Then we’re looking to figure out 1/b = 4, and we get 0.25. now we know b is 1 - v squared / c squared. Again. Complicated so we’ll ask 1 - d = 0.25. giving us a d of 0.75. now we have 0.75 = v squared / c squared. so sqrt(0.75) = v / c = ~ 0.866 which means the velocity is 86.6% of the speed of light.
