Answer:

373.2 K.When we supply heat energy to water, the temperature of water increases and hence its kinetic energy. When the temperature reaches to 100 degree Celsius it becomes constant and the supplied heat is used up for changing water from liquid state to its vapour state.when we supply heat energy to water, the internal energy of water increases till it changes its state. The heat energy required to change it state from liquid to vapor is called as the Latent heat of vaporization.

Explanation:

At what temperature in the kelvin scale does water boil ?

  • The water boils at temperature of 373.15 K.

Explain what happens when we supply heat energy to water till it change it state. what is this heat and energy called?

The water boils at the 373.15 k. At this temperature the water change in vapour state and the water vapour has more energy than the water.

  • This is because the particles in the form of steam have absorbed extra energy in the form of latent heat of vapourization.
