at 373 degree Kelvin the water boil and the supplied heat energy till the water does not change its state is known as latent heat of vaporization

water boils at 373 Kelvin..when we supply heat to water ..the molecules of water gains kinetic energy...and they start vibrating very fast... temperature of the water starts increasing and when it reaches the boiling point of water then the heat energy supplied does not change the temperature of the water..this heat energy is called latent heat of vapourisation..this energy is used in changing the state of water
