We know that the relation between the fahrenheit scale reading and celsius scale reading is
F= 1.8 C + 32
For F= 2C
2 C = 1.8 C +32
0.2 C = 32
C = 160
Therefore 160 ° C corresponds to an F = 2 × 160° = 320 F
So the temperature for which the fahrenheit scale reading is double the reading of celsius scale is 160° C which is equal to 320 F
F= 1.8 C + 32
For F= 2C
2 C = 1.8 C +32
0.2 C = 32
C = 160
Therefore 160 ° C corresponds to an F = 2 × 160° = 320 F
So the temperature for which the fahrenheit scale reading is double the reading of celsius scale is 160° C which is equal to 320 F
